ABOUT EUROBIO

EuroBiO 2008 is the opportunity for Europe’s life science community to make its collective voice heard clearly; to fight to bridge the gap between the pro-innovation rhetoric and reality of the struggle to create and maintain life science businesses.

It will attract in excess of 5000 people, including delegates and visitors from the whole of Europe, from Asia. In 2008, EuroBiO in Paris has a heightened political importance. It falls within the French Presidency of the European Union and has been recognized as the European Presidency Event in Life Sciences.

In these contexts, the programme for EuroBiO has been completely redesigned. The core of the programme is a series of debates -BioDialogues for marketing purposes -which deal with some of the relative short-term controversies around life science and biotechnology, and which are particularly keenly felt in Europe.
