 Catherine R. Kinney is Group Executive Vice President and Head of Global Listings, NYSE Euronext. She is a member of the NYSE Euronext Management Committee.
Mrs. Kinney, who is based in Paris, is responsible for overseeing the company’s global listings and NYSE Euronext marketing and branding activities.
Prior to her current position, she was President and Co-Chief Operating Officer of the New York Stock Exchange and, following the Archipelago merger in 2006, NYSE Group, Inc., since 2002. From 1995 – 2002 she served as the Group Executive Vice President responsible for global listings and client services for the New York Stock Exchange. In 1986, Mrs. Kinney assumed responsibility for trading-floor operations and technology.
Mrs. Kinney joined the NYSE in 1974 and rose steadily through the ranks, holding management positions in several divisions, including Technology Planning, Sales and Marketing, Operations and Regulation.
Mrs. Kinney is a member of the boards of Georgetown University and Catholic Charities. She served on the Board of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. from 2002-2004 and Depository Trust Company from 2003-2007.
Mrs. Kinney graduated Magna Cum Laude from Iona College and completed the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Graduate School of Business. She has received honorary degrees from Georgetown University, Fordham University, and Rosemont College.
